SHOVELING SNOW SNOWBALLS INTO FIGHT BETWEEN NEIGHBOURS

A mother and her son have been arrested after an argument broke out about shoveling snow. St. Thomas Police say that on Thursday afternoon two neighbours on Airey Ave. began to argue about the placement of snow being cleared from a driveway.

FOREST PARK STUDENTS STUFF THE BUS FOR LOCAL FOOD BANK

Students at Forest Park Public School in St. Thomas packed an ambulance with 1,145 non perishable food items for the St. Thomas - Elgin Food Bank. The students collected the items as part of St. John Ambulance - St. Thomas Elgin's "Stuff the Bus" campaign.

ALLEGED FACEBOOK DEATH THREATS LEADS TO ARREST

Anything you say on Facebook can come back to haunt you. That was exactly the case for a 45-year-old man who allegedly posted threats on the social media site. St. Thomas Police say that he threatened to kill a 55-year-old man and injure his 21-year-old son.

MPP YUREK HAS PRIVATE MEMBERS BILL PASSED

Local Member of Provincial Parliament Jeff Yurek has worked to get "The Lung Health Act" passed in the Legislature. The private members bill creates an advisory committee for the Ministry of Health.
