6/13/2018 1:22:47 PM

A traffic stop led to a man being placed under arrest for allegedly returning items to the store without paying for them. St. Thomas Police arrested the 46 year old male on an outstanding warrant on Tuesday morning (June 12). The warrant related to incidents that happened in late April and May.

The male and an associate allegedly took merchandise from the shelf of a local store and went straight to the customer service desk to do a no receipt return.

The male was then given a store gift card that was used in the store at a later time.

The male is charged with one count of obtaining credit by false pretenses and was released with a future court date.
