STRIKE AVOIDED AT WESTERN UNIVERSITY
11/9/2018 9:54:11 AM

Classes at Western University are running as usual as after a strike was avoided early Friday morning (November 9). A tentative agreement has been reached between the University and its Faculty Association (UWOFA).

The tentative agreement was reached around 2 a.m. meaning all classes, labs, tutorials and research will continue as scheduled.

The UWOFA is recommending that its members ratify the tentative agreement. If the deal is ratified it will then be voted on by Western's Board of Governors at their meeting in late November.

No terms of the tentative agreement have been released at this time.
