The St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital is looking for volunteers for their Patient and Family Partner Program. STEGH is looking for anyone who has recently been an inpatient or someone that has experienced the treatment of a family member at the hospital and is willing to provide feedback to help better the services provided at the hospital.
If you become a Patient Partner, some of yours tasks would include providing feedback based on experiences, review and help create educational materials to support patients and family from the perspective of a fellow patient or family member, as well as assist with the development of new practices that are patient and family focused.
This program encourages people to share their experiences, both positive and constructive, in an effort to improve the delivery of services at STEGH.
