The 5th annual Elevated Picnic is taking place on August 23rd. The picnic sees between 250-300 people have lunch on the elevated park with food supplied by Catering by James Meadows, a corn boil and live entertainment. This year’s picnic will be a celebration of the park being fully open from end to end.
President of the Board for On Track St. Thomas Serge Lavoie says that this year they will be celebrating a number of construction milestones at the picnic.
Lavoie says that this event is a major fundraiser for them, with funds going towards their insurance and operating costs. Tickets are $30 and can be purchased online through Eventbrite.
