An Orford man is facing a total of 8 charges after the Elgin County OPP say he was driving his ATV impaired on the road and did not stop for officers on Monday night (July 8). The Elgin County OPP responded to the traffic complaint about an ATV driving dangerously just before 7 p.m. on Union Road. Officers located the ATV on Mill Road and Talbot Line where the driver allegedly failed to stop for officers.
The officers did not pursue the driver and then located him on Second Line and took the driver into custody.
35-year-old Jordan Farr is charged with impaired driving, flight from a peace officer, driving an ATV on the highway, without a helmet and insurance among others.
He was held in St. Thomas court for a bail hearing.
