The St. Thomas Express Volleyball Club is gearing up for the start of their season with registration beginning on August 1st. The club offers teams for kids of all skill types from Competitive Volleyball to Grassroots and House Leagues. Boys and girls as young as 5 years old are able to try their hand at volleyball in the beginner and noncompetitive leagues like grassroots where they will be taught the fundamentals of volleyball and prepare them to move up into select and competitive teams.
The club currently offers competitive volleyball for both boys and girls from grades 6 to 11 who are looking to potentially play or continue to play high school volleyball. The competitive teams are also a great step for people wishing to continue to play volleyball post high school and potentially at the post secondary level.
St. Thomas Express President and Co-founder Dennis Dlouhy says they teach much more than just volleyball to their athletes.
Competitive tryout registration will begin online on August 1st with tryouts set to begin on September 13th. All other team registrations will begin on September 1st, with leagues starting on October 18th
