Bayham Beachfest will be taking place in downtown Port Burwell on the August long weekend. The event that was once referred to as “tub days” will see a more family friendly approach with downtown businesses offering activities for people for all ages to enjoy.
Festivities will kick off on Saturday, August 3rd with a ventriloquist at the library at 10:30 a.m. and will see other activities throughout the day including live music, crafts, and body glitter tattoos. Sunday will see a firefighters breakfast beginning at 8 a.m. and running until 12 p.m. and will also see fun activities like face painting and a magic show taking place before the night ends with fireworks.
Simply Scoops owner and Bayham Beachfest committee member Terri Vansevenant says they are looking forward to people coming to Port Burwell and seeing what the downtown has to offer.
A full list of events taking place as well as their locations can be found on the event’s Facebook page.
