Kids will have a chance to show off their creative sides on the August long weekend with a Sand Castle Competition and a Bicycle Decorating Competition. The Optimist Club of Port Stanley will be participating in the C.A.L.I.P.S.O Festival that is taking place throughout Port Stanley from August 2nd to 5th, by holding 2 different competitions geared towards kids and creativity.

They will also be holding a treasure hunt following the competition where participants will get a chance to find and dig for as many quarters as they can.
A bicycle decorating competition will be taking place on the Sunday (Aug 4) at 11 a.m., where kids will have a chance to show off their styling skills by decorating their bikes for a bike parade that will take place. Mackie’s gift cards will also be given out to the winners in each age category.
