Due to the inclement weather that occurred on Saturday night, the Movie Under The Stars was postponed and will now take place this Saturday (July 27).
The City Of St. Thomas Parks and Recreation Department will be showing The Lego Movie Part 2 starting at 8:30 p.m. at the Pinafore Park Morris F. Jones Bandshell. This is a free, family friendly event that everyone is invited to attend, however you are being asked to bring a non-perishable food donation with you as your admission. All food collected will be going to the Caring Cupboard in St. Thomas.
Administrative Assistant for Parks and Recreation, April Gazda says they are hoping to fill the need that the Caring Cupboard has during this time of year.
Gazda says a small concession will be set up selling popcorn and drinks that night but you are also welcome to bring your own food and snacks. You are also being asked to bring your own seating whether that be chairs or a blanket.
