Three people were arrested in the Walmart parking lot on Tuesday afternoon (July 30) after the store’s loss prevention officers reported them intoxicated and allegedly shoplifting inside the store. Police arrived on scene and took two men into custody after a short struggle. They say that two men drove to the store while intoxicated and shoplifted.
The vehicle that they were driving was located in the parking lot and police say it was stolen. Police also report finding a small amount of Fentanyl and other drug equipment inside the car.
A 28 year old St. Thomas man is facing three counts of driving while prohibited, possession of stolen property, resisting arrest, drug possession, possession of break in instruments and breaching release conditions.
A 36 year old London man is facing charges of possession of stolen property, possession of break in instruments, drug possession and breaching release conditions.
A 23 year old Mississauga woman that police found in the passenger seat of the vehicle has been charged with possession of break in instruments and drug possession.
All were held for a court appearance.
