Dalewood Conservation Area will be holding their 7th Annual Camper Carnival this Sunday (Aug 4). The family fun afternoon will be running from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. with games, food, and face painting available.
Public Relations Supervisor for Kettle Creek Conservation Authority, Marianne Levogiannis says the carnival will feature a variety of games for people of all ages.
Levogiannis says that all games and food can be played and purchased with carnival tickets. Tickets will cost $1 per ticket or you can buy 25 tickets for $20. Games will cost 1 ticket each with face painting costing anywhere from 1-5 tickets depending on the size and style. Tickets can be purchased with debit or credit in advance at the gatehouse, or can be purchased with cash at the carnival. Admission to the carnival is free but those who do not have a campsite and wish to attend must purchase a day pass for $10.
All money raised from the carnival will goes towards the Visitor Service Program that puts on the special events in the park. If anyone wishes to get involved and volunteers at the carnival, you are being asked the call Dalewood’s gatehouse.
