The 41st annual Elgin Historical Show returns to the Dan Patterson Conservation Area from August 9 – 11th. The show features lots of demonstrations of how farmers used to do things in the late 1800s to early 1900s. There will be saw mill, steam threshing, baker fan and single saw demonstrations. There will also be around 100 vintage tractors, old trucks, a petting zoo, flea market and more.
Show Co-Chairman Bill Rimnyak says that the show is geared towards people of all ages.
Rimnyak says that this year they will be featuring Oliver Tractors. There will also be food and musical entertainment. Tickets are $6 for adults with kids 12 and under free.
