A St. Thomas man is facing charges after a local family allegedly were frightened early Monday morning (August 5) by the sound of broken glass to find the accused on their porch yelling.
The couple and their child heard broken glass coming from the ground level of their Wellington Street home just after 12 a.m. The husband found the window of their front door to be broken and a man yelling on their front porch. The accused walked away from the home but was followed by the husband who was on the phone with police.
Officers responded and took the man into custody. 38 year old Allen Slauenwhite is charged with break and enter, trespassing and uttering threats to cause death. He was held for a court appearance.
