The St. Thomas Police’s Drug Trafficking unit’s ‘Project Coppertone’ has seen another one of its arrests sentenced. 44 year old David Parsons has been sentenced to 31 months in custody on Friday (August 9).
Parsons has been in custody since being arrested in September of last year during the Street Crimes Unit 9 month sweep of the City that concluded last October. Parsons will now remain in custody to serve the remaining 15 months of his sentence.
The project resulted in dozens of arrests, $500,000 of illicit drugs seized and tens of thousands of dollars of cash and weapons seized.
