Braxton’s Tap & Grill in St. Thomas is getting ready to celebrate their new ownership with a celebration on Friday night (August 16). The restaurant at 1093 Talbot Street east is now owned by Greg Dray, Lynn Dray and Rob Neil.
The group have already started improvements such as new flooring, painting the exterior of the building, revamping the patio and installing the original Braxton’s sign from the Elgin Mall days at the rear entrance of the restaurant.
Lynn Dray who’s worked in the restaurant industry for 30 years says that their improvements are not meant to take away from what Braxton’s has come to be in the City over the years.
Dray says that the restaurant is open leading up to their celebration on Friday beginning at 4 p.m. There will be smoked wings, ribs and brisket on the patio, live musical entertainment at 7:30 p.m., alcohol samples and prizes from some of their local partners.
