A new community challenge is making up to $15,000 available in grant funding to youth-led projects looking to solve some of the most urgent local priorities. The Elgin – St. Thomas Community Foundation is joining the RBC Future Launch Community Challenge for youths and youth groups between the ages of 15-29.
The $15,000 may go to one successful application or split between up to three successful projects.
Executive Director Terry Carroll says that the projects could relate to a number of different categories.
Carroll says that this program will give them an opportunity to hear about some different urgent needs that they may not have known about. Applications will be accepted until September 18th.
Full application details can be found through the Elgin – St. Thomas Community Foundation’s website.
