Jaycee’s Pool will be holding their 3rd annual Pooch Plunge this Sunday. The pool will be holding this special event that will allow dogs to take a dip as the pool will be closing for the season after Sunday. People will be able to bring their dogs down to the pool at 93 Inkerman Street where they will get to splash around and play with other dogs.
Admission to the pool is $5 per owner and the event will be running from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Smaller dogs who are under 30 pounds will be able to swim from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. and larger dogs over 30 pounds will get to take a dip from 2:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Aquatic Supervisor for Jaycee’s Pool Sydney Watson says they will also be supplying some toys and treats to the dogs in attendance.
Watson says the pool will still be open for swimming today and Saturday before they shut it down for the season following the Pooch Plunge on Sunday.
