Big Brother Big Sisters St. Thomas – Elgin is holding their 4th annual big ball drop on Saturday, September 7th at Pleasant Valley Trout Farm. The event from 12 p.m. – 3 p.m. will see 2,000 numbered golf balls dropped from a crane onto a makeshift green. The ball that lands into or closes to the hole will win $2,000. Everyone who purchases a ball will also be entered into a draw for a flight voucher for 2 from Westjet.
All balls are $5.
Executive Director Barb Matthews says that she believes the event is successful because of how unique it is.
