A St. Thomas woman and her family are now driving around town in a new car thanks to a big win at the Toronto Blue Jays game. Jen Jefferson and her family were the lucky winners of a brand new Honda vehicle that was given away at the Blue Jays game on Canada Day.
Jen, who attends the Canada Day game every year, was selected to play a game on the jumbotron that involved naming Canadian celebrities with hopes of winning a Honda lawnmower. Jen was able to name all the celebrities and was told she was awarded the brand new lawnmower as her prize.
Jen says it wasn’t until after the game that she got the surprise of a lifetime.
Jen says her and her family were in shock and didn’t even remember leaving the stadium. Jen adds that every time she gets in the car she is reminded of the amazing day they had at the Blue Jays game.
