Forest Park Elementary School has received backpacks and school supplies for students in need from the Booze Fighters Motorcycle Club. The donation came from funds and donations received during the club’s summer poker run around Elgin County. Entry into the run was $20 or a school supply donation.
Club member Cody Donnelly says that they made the donation to Forest Park because of his children.
Donnelly says that the donation was so well received, he thinks that next summer’s poker run will also be in support of backpacks for back to school.
