The 144th annual Western Fair is returning to the Western Fair District in London beginning on Friday (September 6). The theme for this year’s fair is “Your favourites are back,” as organizers are bringing back classic events and items from fairs past. Some of the favourites returning include concerts at the grandstand, bingo and back bacon on a bun.
Director of Marketing and Communications Greg Blanchard says that the concerts returning to the grandstand is exciting, given the new transformed grandstand.
Blanchard says that all of the other fair favourites like the midway, animal barn and demolition derby will be there as well. The fair runs from September 6 – 15th.
