Nominations are officially open for our 2019 myFM Spirit Awards. This year’s free event celebrating the best people, places and things in St. Thomas and Elgin County is being held at the St. Thomas Seniors Centre on October 25th from 7 p.m. – 10 p.m. Thanks to your suggestions, we have officially picked our 50 categories for this year’s awards.
General Manager at myFM Samantha Wakefield says we did something new this year by allowing the public to choose not only the nominees, but the 50 categories.
You will be able to nominate your favourites in categories such as Best New Business, Most Influential Citizen, Best Restaurant, Top Teacher, and even Best Place To Buy Gas.
Nominations will be open until September 22nd, with voting beginning on September 30th.
