The United Way Elgin Middlesex is holding their 3M Harvest Lunch in St. Thomas for the first time ever on September 18th. The lunch will be taking place at the CASO Station from 12 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. and will serve as a kick-off to their annual campaign.
The ticketed event is open to everyone.
Associate Director of Development Heather Jackson says that while they have held kick-offs in St. Thomas before, the lunch is new.
Jackson says that this year’s campaign will look to highlight the unignorable local issues of poverty, homelessness and barriers to education. Tickets to the lunch can be purchase online at unitedwayem.ca.
