The Elgin County Economic Development and Tourism department is looking for a photograph of beautiful Elgin County to grace the cover of their latest tourist guide. Amateur and professional photographers, 18 years of age or older will have the opportunity to submit a photo that highlights all that Elgin County has to offer to the photo contest titled “We’ve Got You Covered.”
The tourism department is looking for an eye-catching photograph that will captivate potential visitors to pick up their 2020 Elgin County Visitor’s Guide. Some ideas for photo submissions could include picking your own fresh fruits and vegetables at one of our local farmers’ markets, soaking up the sun at one of Elgin County’s sandy beaches, or even exploring parts of the 100 kms of natural trails throughout the area.
Photos for the contest must be submitted by Monday, September 30th at 11:59 p.m., where all qualifying submissions will then be posted to the Elgin County Economic Development and Tourism Facebook page for followers to vote on. The picture with the highest number of likes will be chosen as the winner and announced sometime in October.
