St. Thomas City Council will vote on an additional $62,376 in funding for the garage floor replacement at the St. Thomas Police Station. Staff is recommending that council approve the $125,000 tender for the project from Elgin Contracting and Restoration Ltd.
The $62,000 in additional funding would come from the development charge and infrastructure reserve accounts. The additional funding is needed as the tender is more than the $75,000 that was originally approved in this year’s capital budget for the project.
The total cost for the replacement is $137,376.
