A St. Thomas man has been charged following the recovery of a stolen vehicle. The St. Thomas Police Service were able to recover a white Dodge pickup truck that was stolen from a residence on Omemee Street sometime last Friday (Sept 13). Officers located the truck that was found abandoned in a Ross Street parking lot yesterday.
Police were able to look at security footage from the area and observed a male parking the white Dodge truck and walking away. Upon investigation of the video, the suspect was identified as 50 year Trevor Irvine. Irvine was taken into custody without incident last night (Sept 18) around 6 p.m., where he was held for a court appearance.
The 50 year old St. Thomas man was charged with one count Obstruct Police and one count Possession of Stolen Property Over $5000.
