Organizers are getting ready for the annual Pink Ribbon Campaign in St. Thomas and Port Stanley next month. The campaign which seeks to increase the awareness and raise funds for those battling breast cancer will be taking place from October 10th – 12th.
Volunteers will be out at various locations with pink baskets providing pink ribbons to those who donate.
Team Leader Jen Kohler says that the local residents are always very generous.
Kohler says that last year they surpassed their $5,000 goal, raising more than $8,000.
