The 64 year old male who was arrested over the weekend for assaulting a woman with a bike chain was taken into custody again last night. The man who was released after being charged for assaulting a 49 year old female with a padlock attached to a bike chain was arrested last night for breaching release conditions.
The St. Thomas Police located the man around 11 p.m. last night at Canron Parkette where he was under court orders not to attend. During the arrest officers also seized a pair of bolt cutters as well as a hacksaw. The 64 year old St. Thomas man was taken into custody without incident where he was held for court.
As a result of the latest incident, he is being charged with one count Breach of Release Conditions and one count Possession of Break and Enter Tools in addition to his 4 others charges that he received during the initial incident.
