The 4th annual Dogtoberfest will be taking place this Saturday on the Solitude Nature Reserve. The event that will be running from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. brings together the entire family, including your furry friends. The day will see many activities for children and dogs including a scavenger hunt, pumpkin decorating and even a dog treat decorating station. Their will also be vendors, a BBQ, and a beer garden that will also feature special dog beer.
Dogtoberfest Board Member Kristina Nethercott says the event looks to give people a chance to enjoy food and fun with the family, along with your dog.
Admission to the event is $5 per person, with food and beverages not included. All money raised from the event will be going CanFix to support spay/neuter programs in Ontario First Nations Communities.
