Railway City Tourism has announced that international muralist Kelsey Montague will be painting one of her wing murals in St. Thomas this December. Montague will be painting the large wings on panels that will then be installed on the side of the St. Thomas Transit Building on Talbot Street.
Montague has painted her large wing murals all over the world which people travel from all over to stand in the middle of and pose for a picture and then post on social media.
Tourism Manager Megan Pickersgill says that Montague will be incorporating St. Thomas into the wings.
Pickersgill says that they hope to use this as a way to bring people to the community and spotlight the other murals and public art that we have in the city. Montague will be in St. Thomas to paint the mural from December 13 – 16.
