An OPP training exercise at the St. Thomas Municipal Airport on Monday afternoon will result in an increased number of first responders at the airport. The Elgin County OPP say that their training exercise will begin after 4 p.m.
The OPP says that they do not anticipate the exercise will have any impact on the traffic in the area, though an increased number of emergency personnel will be present.
St. Thomas Elgin Paramedics and Central Elgin Fire will also be attending.
