The final numbers are now tabulated and Elgin-Middlesex-London has officially re-elected Conservative Karen Vecchio as the riding’s Member of Parliament. Below is the breakdown of exactly how the riding voted.

– Pam Armstrong – Liberal: 14,166
– Bob Hargreaves – NDP: 10,909
– Ericha Hendel – Green: 3,522
– Donald Helkaa – PPC: 945
– Peter Redecop – CHP: 618
– Richard Styve – Libertarian: 248
In total 61,288 votes were cast at 174 polls in the riding. In Canada 17.9 million residents voted which is a 65.9% turnout of eligible voters. That is an increase in total votes from the 2015 federal election which saw 17.7 million votes. Despite the increase in total votes, this year saw a 2.4% decrease in eligible voter turnout.
