Karen Vecchio has been re-elected as the Member of Parliament for Elgin-Middlesex-London. Vecchio who just finished her first 4 years as an MP here in Elgin-Middlesex-London will get a chance to be the voice for our riding in Ottawa for another term. myFM was at Vecchio’s Election Night headquarters tonight where so many of her supporters showed up to congratulate her and celebrate a re-election.
Vecchio says that a re-election feels completely different than her first win in the 2015 Federal Election.
Vecchio adds that she feels that a re-election means she is doing a good job and the residents of Elgin-Middlesex-London recognize that. Vecchio says she will continue to be the voice for her constituents and will focus on customer service.
Vecchio is looking forward to her next 4 years and is hoping to continue to work on local projects including infrastructure, housing, affordability and services for seniors.
