Geerlinks Home Hardware in St. Thomas is looking for a local artist to help them “Create” their space. Geerlinks is holding a contest in order to find an artist to paint over their accent wall and add a little life to it. They are looking for someone who can paint a graffiti style mural on the 75″ by 106″ wall. Graffiti is the preferred painting style they are looking for but they are also open to interpretation.
The theme of the wall will be “Create Your Space” with the word ‘Create’ being the centre of the art piece. All artist submissions will be voted on by customers and their social media followers, with the winner receiving $500. Paint for the project will be provided by Home Hardware free of charge. The deadline for artist submissions will be on Friday, November 1st.
