The United Way Elgin Middlesex is collecting winter boots for their Give Cold Feet The Boot Campaign. The campaign helps to ensure that all children have warm toes this winter through the collection of new and gently used boots.
Donor Experience Specialist Jennie Malone says winter boots are often put on the back burner for families trying to make ends meet.
Malone says that in addition they will also be collecting gift cards in order to purchase new boots to ensure that the correct sizes needed can be purchased. The United Way will be collecting all sizes of boots from youth, children, to even adults.
Drop of locations in the City include the St. Thomas Police Station, Railway City Brewing Company, and YMCA St. Thomas. The campaign will be running until Tuesday, November 26th.
