Two Dutton-Dunwich residents are facing a long list of weapons and break in related charges and close to 30 firearms have been recovered in the OPP’s investigation into residences that have been broken into during funeral services. These arrests are in relation to the Elgin County OPP’s warning in early September of break and enters occurring during funeral services.
45 year old Krystle Oag is facing a combined 47 charges. Some of Oag’s charges include 18 counts of possession of firearms obtained by crime and 16 counts of possession of property obtained by crime, break and enter among others.
55 year old Ian Scott is facing a combined 42 charges. Some of Scott’s charges include 16 counts of possession of property obtained by crime, 18 counts of possession of firearms obtained by crime, 4 counts of careless storage of a firearm among others.
Both were held for bail hearings late last month.
The OPP are asking anyone with any further information or outstanding property to call the Elgin County OPP.
