The St. Thomas Jr. B Stars will be knocking on doors in the City on Thursday night for their annual holiday food drive. The team will be heading out to various neighbourhoods beginning around 6:30 p.m. and will remain out for a couple hours. The food drive is in support of Christmas Care.
Stars Owner and General Manager Joe Daniels says that the community always supports the food drive.
Daniels says that the players look forward to the evening as it gives them a chance to interact with some of their fans. If the Stars don’t knock on your door nonperishable food donations will be accepted at their Friday night (November 8) home game.
Friday night will also kick off their annual toy drive in support of Christmas Care in partnership with St. Thomas Town & Country Realty.
Unwrapped toys can be brought to any Stars game up until December 8th.
