The Provincial Government’s new economic stimulus program will help companies in Elgin County expand their business. The Regional Development Program will be providing $100 million over 4 years in grants and loans for small and large businesses in eastern and southwestern Ontario.
The companies creating 5 jobs or more can apply to for the funding.
Minister Jeff Yurek says that he’s proud that the program is coming to the region.
Yurek says that another noteworthy aspect of the program is the 60 day period that will see the applicants be notified if they are eligible to receive funding. The program will also provide a wide range of services.
