The St. Thomas Police are investigating after another ATM machine was stolen from a business in the City. The incident occurred at the Ultramar Station on Talbot Street near Fairview Ave just after 5 a.m. Thursday morning.
Police released video of the incident which shows an SUV type vehicle backup to the gas station with 3 men in it. Two men get out of the vehicle and smash a window to get inside the gas station. A chain of some sort appears to be tied around the ATM that is attached to the SUV. The vehicle then accelerates pulling the ATM off of the wall, through the window and into the parking lot. All 3 men then load the ATM into the vehicle and drive away.
The entire incident took place in 1 minute.
The police say that the vehicle was last seen driving eastbound on Talbot Street.
If you have any information on this incident you’re asked to contact the St. Thomas Police or Crime Stoppers. An ATM was stolen under similar circumstances from the Foodland in St. Thomas on October 21.
