The St. Thomas Police are asking for the public’s help after a theft that took place in the city overnight on Friday. It is reported that the thieves made their way to the backyard of a home located on Fairview Ave near Wellington Street and stole a bicycle as well as a wallet that was left in a vehicle that was parked in the driveway.
A credit card that was in the wallet was used 3 separate times before the owner canceled the card, racking up a total of around $200.
The STPS are currently working to secure video footage from the stores that the stolen credit card was used at but are asking anyone that may have any information about the thefts or saw anything suspicious in the area around the time of the theft to report it to them or Crime Stoppers.
