The St. Thomas Salvation Army is gearing up for 2 events in the City that are sure to bring holiday cheer. The first event is geared more towards the kids with their annual Breakfast with Santa taking place this Saturday (Nov 30). Families are invited to come and have breakfast that will feature pancakes and sausages beginning at 8 a.m. at the St. Thomas Citadel.
Community Ministries Officer Nyree Bond says after the breakfast the kids will get to meet Santa and participate in holiday themed activities.
Bond says that limited tickets are still available with adults being $5 and children under 14 free. To reserve tickets you can contact their office at 519-631-6202.
Bond adds that they are also taking reservations for their Christmas Eve Community Dinner that will begin at 5:30 p.m. Everyone is invited to join them for a free Christmas dinner as well as their Candlelight Carol Service as a way to bring the community together for the holidays.
