A new Kumon Math and Reading Centre is officially open in the Elgin Centre. The new St. Thomas franchise that is located across from Bluenotes in the mall is an after-school academic enrichment program that helps children achieve success in the classroom. Each student in the program is given their own personalized plan, in order for them to achieve their goals.
Owner/Instructor of Kumon St.Thomas Géhane Saad says that as a teacher she feels that it’s important for students to learn good study skills at an early age.
Classes at Kumon will be running on Mondays and Thursdays from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Parents wishing to find out more information about the program can call or email the centre to book a free orientation and placement test for their child.
