November was a record setting month for the London St. Thomas Association of Realtors with 752 homes sold. This was the second consecutive record setting month for LSTAR.
St. Thomas’ housing sales were up 1.5% last month with 66 homes sold for an average price of $327,731.
LSTAR President Earl Taylor says that having record setting months in back to back months speaks to how desirable the region is to home buyers.
Taylor says that Elgin County’s sales were up over 15% last month at 52, for an average sale price of $417,206. LSTAR is also anticipating that their December sales will bring them to over 10,000 for the year.
