In a historic move, the House of Representatives have passed two articles of impeachment against U.S. President Donald Trump. Donald Trump has become only the third president in U.S. history to be impeached.
The House announced that a 230-197 vote approved an article accusing him of abuse of power. The House has also passed the second article of impeachment, which is obstruction of Congress. The final vote was 229-198.
The vote followed weeks of testimony related to his dealings with Ukraine and hours of fiery debate over the process.
Trump spent the evening at a rally with supporters in Michigan as Congress announced the results on the two articles of impeachment against him.
He joins Andrew Johnson and Bill Clinton as the only Presidents in U.S history to be impeached.
