With the big day finally here tomorrow, here’s what’s open and what’s closed in St. Thomas and Elgin County on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
St. Thomas City Hall and Social Services Offices will be closed beginning December 24th and will reopen on Monday, December 30th. All grocery stores such as The Real Canadian Superstore, Walmart, Metro, FreshCo, Foodbasics, and Foodland will be closed on Christmas Day but will reopen on boxing day.
Shoppers Drug Mart at 410 Talbot Street will be open on Christmas day from noon until 5 p.m. and from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Boxing Day.
Briwood will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. today.
The LCBO and Beer Store in St. Thomas will be closed at 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve, with the Beer Store reopening on December 26th from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
myFM will also be closed on Christmas Eve at noon but we will still be playing great music and our staff will be back with all your local news, sports and weather on December 27th.
