With Christmas festivities in full swing, the City wants to remind you of their New Year’s Eve plans.
The City of St. Thomas will be doing their part to make sure no one is drinking and driving. They will be offering free transit throughout St. Thomas in an effort to lower the risk of drunk drivers.
The free service will run from 8:15 p.m. on December 31st until 3:15 a.m. on January 1st. The city is also waving the over night parking ban, as vehicles will not be ticketed from 3 a.m. until 5 a.m. during New Year’s.
Along with these measures, Police will also be on the road to make sure the public is safe.
