The Elgin St. Thomas Community Foundation is celebrating a record setting 2019 and looking forward into 2020. This past year the foundation surpassed $5 million in total assets, a substantial increase on their $4.2 million total from 2018. They celebrated the RBC Future Launch Community Challenge, their 100 People Who Care Event as well as numerous other contributions to the community.
Executive Director Terry Carroll says that one of their biggest challenges this year was time.
Carroll says that they are already planning for a number of fundraising events in 2020 and are remaining the Trivia Tunes event on May 9th.
