Nominations are now open for the 14th annual Kraft Hockeyville.
The long-standing competition has awarded 81 communities $3.5 million for various arena upgrades and repairs.
Senior Brand Manager Matt Bruce says the love of hockey the nation shares with each other is what makes Kraft Hockeyville a continued success.
Bruce tells us how to nominate your arena.
He says the more your community page and arena is shared and engaged with the better, as that improves your town’s score.
Adding that it takes rallying the community and heading over to their website to have your town and arena be considered.
Those three questions surround you telling your town’s story of how important the arena is to the area, how the grand prize would be used, and submitting pictures and videos showing off the passion for local hockey.
You have until midnight on February 9th to vote.
The final four towns will be announced March 24th and you can visit krafthockeyville.ca for more information.
