Results are in for the Festive RIDE checks done over the holidays by the Aylmer Police.
Officers checked more than 21-hundred vehicles and administered 26 roadside tests, resulting in one impaired driver being charged.
One driver was charged with cannabis readily available and four warnings were also issued for other offences under the Highway Traffic Act.
Police remind motorists that RIDE checks will be held regularly throughout the year in an effort to reduce Impaired driving on our roadways.
